A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between one page and the next. Some are needed for a site to function; others follow people around. This site only has the first kind.

That is the whole list. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie and no social media cookie on this site, and the contact form does not set one either.
The two categories that are switched off
The privacy dialog offers two optional categories. Both are empty today; they exist so that nothing can ever be added quietly.
- Statistics. Would count visits and show which pages people read. Nothing of the kind is installed.
- External media. Would allow content loaded from another company — a map, a video, a booking widget — which would be able to see your IP address. Nothing of the kind is installed.
Changing your mind
Use the Privacy settings link at the bottom of any page. It reopens the dialog with your current choice showing, and saving replaces the old one. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing, which is the point.
Doing it in your browser instead
Every browser can block or delete cookies for a single site or for all of them — look under Settings, then Privacy. If you delete the cookie this site sets, you will simply be asked once more the next time you visit. Blocking essential cookies is possible and will not break anything here for a visitor.
Links to other places
We link out to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Tripadvisor. Those are plain links: nothing loads from them while you are on this site, and they set no cookie here. Once you follow one, you are on their service and their own policy applies.
